How to setup PeopleSync App to sync Contactzilla using CardDAV on Android

UPDATE: Update July 2025: We’ve replaced the third-party PeopleSync method with our own Contactzilla Sync app. Read our announcement and step by step guide here.

We support Android users via the PeopleSync CardDAV Client, our recommended third-party app for seamless two-way syncing of Contactzilla address books.

Here is the setup procedure.

Step 1: Install PeopleSync from the Google Play Store

Step 2: Launch the App and grant permissions

a. Open the app and tap through the welcome screen b. Grant Contacts permission when prompted c. (Optional) Enable regular sync intervals if desired d. Tap Add account to continue

Step 3: Log In with Contactzilla Credentials

a. Choose Login with email addressb. Enter the email and password from your Contactzilla CardDAV connection area. c. Name your account and hit Finish. The name here is only used in People Sync and the Contacts App on Android as a label. d. You will now see your Contactzilla address book listed with the toggle switch on to show the contacts are being synchronized to your Android device.
